A huge gap in trying to heal or overcome anything that appears to be "on someone's way", is addressing the actual problem without understanding what created that problem in the first place. For example, when someone is experiencing a stomach problem, and we just focus on healing the stomach symptoms, even if we do it holistically, we are not actually getting to the root cause and the life changing message that stomach problem brought with it. Underneath that illness, there is your Soul calling you to forgive someone, to digest your emotions or to let go of what is no longer serving you. 

Illnesses and obstacles are Soul callings back to balance. 

A scary moment of my life was when my life long chronic stomach gastritis stopped healing. I was used to it flaring up once or twice a year, for as long as I can remember. I knew how to deal with it. For a couple of days I had to go on a special diet, take some pills, and it would go back to normal. Until one time, it flared up, and... it stopped healing. For months, anything I tried to eat outside of the 5 things I could eat, it would cause pain and ulcers. Of course in these moments you question life! So many dreams, so many things I wanted to do, but I felt my health was in my way. Until, I started listening to what my stomach had to say. I had people I needed to forgive, my perspectives of my life at the moment were "eating me alive" just like my stomach symptoms, I was swallowing my emotions instead of processing them. What was actually in my way: these emotional patterns I was carrying. My stomach was just letting me know I was ready to release these emotional patterns, so that I could create the life I was asking God for (and that I am living today!). The fact that my stomach stopped healing pretty much led me straight into my Soul's greatest purpose. I was bartending at the time and doing Voice over acting. For the last 8 years now, I have been helping people get to the root cause of their problems so that they heal and create their most fulfilling lives too. And if you read it this far, this is your sign your Soul is calling you to help people in a greater way as well. We can't separate our mind, body and Soul. It shouldn't be any different when it comes to healing.
